What People's Say About Place

We stumbled across this place and decided to stop for a late lunch. We were immediately seated in the bar area (the dining room was closed until dinner). Our waitress took our drink and appetizer order right away. She took our food order after bringing the appetizer out. Food came out promptly. My blackened salmon and asparagus were delicious. I didn't care for the rice. It tasted almost freezer burnt. My husband had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans. He didn't think the potatoes were "real" but I couldn't tell. The jalapeño gravy was very spicy, but very tasty. It made our noses run! If I could change anything, I'd ask that the waitress be more attentive. We never received drink refills. We had to ask her for a to-go box, and had to ask her for our check. A little attention goes a long way!

We found the food to be quite delicious. Service was great, our server was very attentive yet friendly.

My wife and I always get to-go orders which is the only reason for the 4 stars on atmosphere. The food is very good. I feel the prices are a little high, but I'm stuck in the eighties. My wife thinks the prices are about right. The rib-eye is very good. The shrimp kisses appetizer tasty. The hamburger was good. The shrimp and rice dinner was a bit of a let down compared to the rest of the delicious food. Overall, it is a very nice place to eat (or get take out). My wife and I rarely eat out because we cook better than most restaurants. (Not bragging, just being honest). Lew's is one of a very few restaurants that we feel has very good food. Do yourself a favor and stop by there and have a really good meal.

Hidden little gem someone referred us to. Went for dinner, not busy at all and the food was so good! My favorite was the alfredo pasta! Homemade!!!

Who would have thought, Chicken fried ribeye. It was great!

Country club atmosphere. Food was great. Nice place to go for special occasions. Service was great but I do need to say they were not very busy. More people arrived as we were leaving. They have a nice room for a party of 8-10.
